Every Team At Every Stadium
With our 2012 games all written-up here on our blog, I am now in the process of updating our Baseball Logs. There are still nine teams (the Rangers, White Sox, Tigers, Giants, Dodgers, Padres, Reds, Brewers and Astros) that Kellan has not yet seen play a game in person, and he has only visited 17Major League ballparks he has yet to visit. (But, heck, he’s only 2 years old…so he’s doing pretty well for himself as a baseball fan). Tim and I, on the other hand, have now seen every Major League team play at least one home game and at least one road game:
It felt great to finally check off our final stadium. But I don’t feel like our journey is now complete. Far from it, in fact. I want to visit every stadium a lot. I want to get to know every stadium inside and out.
So, with my little “Touch ‘em All Checklist” complete, it is time to move on to the BIG LIST that I have often though of, and just finally put together:
Okay…yeah, this one is going to take some awhile.
Hmm…I wonder if there is anyone alive who can actually say they have seen every MLB team play at every stadium. I doubt that I will ever be able to complete the chart. But I plan to have a lot of fun with my boys trying.

Wow. I actually wondered what your next motivation would be having accomplished so early in both Tim and Kellan’s lives. Good luck; it sounds like a great goal. I just wonder what you’ll do if a team changes stadiums. Do you just want to see every team play with every other team being the home team? I mean I assume so since your other option is pretty much moving there for half-a-season if you’re running behind.

I’m thinking each team in each city…stadiums come and go. Creating this chart made one thing clear to me: I need to stop seeing NL East teams playing in Philadelphia! We’ve seen every NL East team play in Philadelphia multiple times. Gotta get some fresh teams in there!
After I read this, I immediately created a chart just like the one you did. Unfortunately, the closest MLB team to me is 2 hours away and in Canada so I’m nowhere close to filling in as many spots as you did. I haven’t even seen all 30 teams yet but I’m 4 teams away so I’m pretty close. Anyway, good luck filling in your chart.

Good luck and have fun with it! If anyone ever finishes this entire chart, it will be a small miracle! And don’t worry about not having seen all 30 teams yet. I grew up in an AL town (Seattle) before interleague play and nearly 1000 miles from the nearest NL team. I didn’t complete seeing all 30 teams until Tim and I saw the Cardinals in Pittsburgh in September 2007, when I was 31 years old.
Ok, now I need to create a chart. I often get confused what date I have been to a stadium. Wow! you are well organized.
